Hacking Lg Menu

Ok first off didnt really know where to put this..if its in the wrong place please move.

OK! my idea is to hack the Lg Menu for our use. Basically customize it to display what we want it to so it can actually be useful.

So fare i have very little progress in this(just started hehe).

But i have gotten all the files associated with the menu(i believe), and am in the process of find the relative reg keys(hard and slow & inefficient work :S).

One key regkey ive found so far is in kclm\software\lge\menu\

under this folder it has keys m0,m1,m2,m3 which have a value for each row in the menu like
(first row) m000,m001... to m007 for the 8 items in the row.
these keys control how many icons show up, say in above u remove m007 it will only show 7 icons. it does these seamlessly so the menu is obviously displayed dynamically. but if u add m008 another item is not displayed.

so while the this key tells hte program to display an item, its only if its defined somewhere else...


so yea if anyone else wants to jump be my guess, ill look into this some more later.

ok update, The values of the above directly control the number of items within each row, if u add a number it will add a slot to that row. Right now it will show an empty slot. Now all we gotta do is see is were these are defined at.
