This might be a wild guess, but i'm thinking you have installed LG software update app from LG website. Try to uninstall it if you did and also manually delete folders where previous upgrades unpacked ( on Win7 it is c:\users\all users\LGMOBILEAX ) and also uninstall IQ driver if the version installed is from stock rom.
Then run DragonStorm, after you click upgrade it will notify that can not connect to phone and will offer to install drivers. After drivers are installed click upgrade again - it should work.

Check the SPConf.ini to make sure the dz filename matches.

Looking in...
......LGMOBILEAX\SmartPhoneSetup\SPConf.ini

The filename listed under "DZNAME =" should match the file located in ....LGMOBILEAX\Phone

If the updater doesn't find a file in \Phone then it tries to download it.

I PM'd you as well but the link for the IQ flasher is busticated, can you repost please.

In November you said work was a foot on a new rom but that you had to rebuild yourr kitchen first. Failing to back up is exactly why I am here looking to d/l again
