When I first found this phone on the web and started reading about it the articles I had read said this was supposed to be LG's first phone to utilize Windows Phone 7 but when MS pushed back the date or changed their expectations of phones to use WP7 LG hurried and put it out with WM6.5.

After having the phone for awhile I have noticed that the stock ROM definitely seems "rushed".  For instance, notifications.  Sometimes when I get a text I'll get a sound notification and sometimes I will not.  If it's on vibrate sometimes it will actually vibrate sometimes it won't  Huh  The LED notification works the same way.  Sometimes it will be flashing to notify me something is waiting for me and sometimes I'll light up the phone to find 3 text messages I didn't know that I had.  Are these things that could be cured with a custom ROM?  Am I the only one who's phone does this?

Also it has been noted in other threads about the phone waking up whenever it wants to.

What are some other issues people have had with the stock ROM that people have taken notice of and maybe we could get a list going of fixes we'd like to see in a custom ROM or fixes that could even be performed for the lite base ROM?

Once my LED didnt shut after I read the text. A couple of time the multiple notification icon appered when its only a text. I totally agree with you on rushing with the ROM when switching to W6.5, i think that is the core of most of our issues

I have an issue when the audio goes completely out.  I restart the phone and it does not come back.  This almost always happens during an outgoing call where I will not hear any ringing even though the phone shows connected.  I can use the bluetooth fine.  I have reset the phone only to have the problem return.  Now I have to remove the battery for a while to get it running again.  Annoying.

I've gotten the multiple item notification icon too several time when there was only one message that came in. Seems to only happen when I have my bluetooth headet connected though. A text comes in and it chimes in my ear like 5 times. But my Tilt used to do that too sometimes, so I hadn't given it too much thought.

i have seen same issue. a major issue that annoys me.. is in the dialer.. i have multiple numbers stored with ptones.

only extension is different for those.. so essentially number is 123456789p8888 where 8888 is unique but base number is same...

call history and dialer confuse this.. so it will show a contactx while you go to its detailed page and it open contacty because it indeed was contacty but dialer and call history confuse it with contactx and show that as name

a barebones rom sounds like the best place to start..

remove everything. literally. everything that we don't need.
the bare essentials so it works correctly.. the cam, the sound, the bluetooth, the gps, all that must work.. but everything else has to go
all the LG crap.. all the ATT crap

unfortunately all the LG crap can't go or the phone wouldn't work..

i just want it as bare as possible... i wanna feel how fast my dragon can fly without all the heavy shit on it's back it started with...
