Emergency Download Mode:
1. Turn the handset off.
2. Remove USB cable if you have it attached.
3. Slide out the QWERTY keyboard.
4. Press 'SPACE' key on the phone. Keep it pressed.
5. Insert the MicroUSB cable into the device. Keep the 'SPACE' key pressed.
6. 'Emergency Download' logo is displayed on the screen.

Normal Download Mode:
1. Turn the handset off.
2. Remove USB cable if you have it attached.
3. Slide out the QWERTY keyboard.
4. Press 'ENTER' key on the phone. Keep it pressed.
5. Insert the MicroUSB cable into the device. Keep the 'ENTER' key pressed.
6. LG logo comes up followed by the Windows Mobile boot logo. Continue to keep the 'ENTER' key pressed.
7. 'Normal Download' logo is displayed on the screen.

I have not been able to go past this. I am new to cooking roms n stuff. I am trying to see if I can do something with some of the tools/ drivers that were available for LG Incite/ others. If you manage something, do let me know.

Very nice. I knew there had to be a way other than the LG Updater app to get into emergency download mode. Thanks for the find.

I just tried putting my phone into Normal download mode and it worked, but to get out of it I had to pull the battery. The weird part is when I loaded the phone back up it shows that my battery was a 0% and needs charging, yet my phone still powered on. Right now I have it charging.

Threw battery calibration out of whack?  that would mean you had Bios level effect on it somehow i would think.

Interesting

Yeah. I was thinking that. I found this very interesting. Also I'm not sure why there is two download modes. Emergency download mode is the one used to update the firmware, roms, and etc. I wonder what Normal Download Mode is used for.

He's on a diet now, 5-10 villagers a day, somedays, i'll toss in tree or two for fiber.

Not sure if it's possible. I wouldn't even know where to begin with trying to get into the bios of a WM device. My experience my with my battery may have been a fluke.

I would hazard is too deep for us with mobile.

Probably bypassed the bios, leaving it offline for a minute with no data, had nothing to go on while in that mode, as normally when you flash you lose basic level charging with its smart features which should be machine level.
