Do I simply drop the the flash.bin file on osnbtool.exe or do I need to do something else. Dumping the flash.bin this way is new to me since it was always automated in spocky's kitchen. I'm getting a bit antsy waiting on the kitchen so if I can create a custom rom manually I'm willing to give it a shot. The part your at I find to be the easy part.

I'm just doing it all from a command prompt.  Just run osnbtool in a command prompt with the options and be sure to use the full path to the imgfs.bin file unless osnbtool happens to be in the same subdirectory.

I'm building the OEM and SYS folders right now and then I'm going to the XIP stuff....I can probably 7z it all and post somewhere if you need...

Awesome. That would be great. I figured out that it should be run from a command prompt, but I keep getting an error. It says ERROR - Can not open source file. Not sure why. I put in the full path to osnbtool.exe and then put after that -sp FLASH.bin. This is what I entered:
C:\Users\Dark\Desktop\osnbtool_v1.56_by_Weisun\osnbtool.exe -sp FLASH.bin

I'm pretty sure I did it right, but just want to make sure.

UPDATE: Got it working. Had to put a copy of cmd.exe in the same folder everything else was in. Weird. Thanks for the help.

Was just reading thru the start.bat from the incite kitchen that in addition to imgfs.bin and xip.bin, a third file called mbr.bin is extracted and it's used for some sort of manifest file...not sure how necessary this is and how to get it using tools other than the LG muncher tool...

Ok. I've gotten as far as reconstructing the imgfs.bin after attempting to port 23549. Now does anyone know how to reconstruct flash.bin?

UPDATE: Nevermind. Figured it out. I'll let everyone know how it goes as soon as I try to flash.

UPDATE 2: I'm having problems reconstructing the FLASH.bin. Any help would be great.

Sweet! I've been scratching my head on the erviuskitchen.exe stuff....how in the world do you determine the deviceID / chunk / OSid?  Boy there is a lot going on there....and I thought the hard part would be extracting the bin files....

I basically just used the same method used to cook Incite roms. Don't know if it worked yet since I can't figure out how to reconstruct FLASH.bin. I was able to reconstruct imgfs.bin and it looks to be the right file size. But like I said in the previous post I need to get some sleep for work. I'll be on again tomorrow night.

mbr = master boot record ? weird for it to be in .bin format ?

For those of you who are having trouble running mostt of these tools in Vista/Win7, try running a command prompt with admin privileges, not just setting the apps compatibility mode, but actually running cmd.exe with admin privileges.

Ok, I'm getting a problem where when I try to rebuild the imgfs.bin file, imgfsfromdump.exe keeps crashing on me as it builds the OEM
