Ok this is a small question or concern and I will probably ta it down afterwards but my question is can us IQ' get some more ROM support? I have tried a few of these like say GTXpo or the Sense themed one and they appear to only work, on the Expo. Comon guys can't we get a little more to choose from here?

I know I may be just not looking hard enough and also I am a current user of Dragon-Storm 23139. I know it is probably thee best ROM out there but I just want to have some fun with this phone and its starting to get VERY bloated with all the stuff I have on here.

I have many tweaks many tweak apps, SKTools, many various drivers, the lil .cabs that Dark posted for ROM errors and a LOAD of other stuff. (However still I can NOT send a MMS) but I just want something fresh to look at.

SPB Home is out of the question cause by the end of the day its so slow and lagged it isnt worth a damn thing.

Ideas of how I can keep the hacks and tweaks, AND the speed, with out deleting everything?

Also how can I get MMS back? Is that a common issue?

Are you saying you weren't able to load GTXpo on IQ ?
I was able, and everything works fine  but I like DragonStorm better.
I installed DragonStorm for Expo on my IQ and i got v10g version under info and it seems
that my reception and battery life is better  than with stock IQ (v10c) rom.
Only problem with DragonStorm is - I've lost aGPS setting so it takes long time to get a GPS fix. I think there is GPSOneApp that i SHOULD be able to fix GPS issue but i never figured out how to do that.

Anyhow if you're interested how to load eXpo roms on IQ, this is how i did it:
First run any IQ rom, dragonstorm will do, and go to folder where you extracted files and look for "GW825WR.dll" (if i remember correctly it is under "phone" folder. Copy GW825WR.dll somewhere safe you'll need it later. You can cancel upgrade program and delete LGMOBILEAX folder.
Now run your desired eXpo rom, say GTXpo.exe ( I run as Administrator under win7) and before you click "upgrade" you have to go to folder where the files were extracted ( under win7 it is C:\Users\All Users\LGMOBILEAX\Phone\) and replace GW820WR.dll with
GW825WR.dll and then go to C:\Users\All Users\LGMOBILEAX\SmartPhoneSetup\ and edit
SPConf.ini.  there you have to change to " DLLNAME   = GW825WR.dll  " and  " MODEL = GW825 " . You have to edit it as administrator otherwise it won't let you save it.
when you're done with it just click upgrade in the GTXpo.exe rom upgrade program.

One more thing, to enable MMS, go "Start-Text-Message Settings" and make sure that your connection has following:

MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mmsc
MMS Proxy: 74.49.0.18
Port Number: 80
Access Point: Telus SP       (sp.telus.com)

Yeah i tried this too and it kept giving me a server error at 34% under analyzing the pc enviroment. Not sure what to do. I made sure all of the files that you mentioned were in the correct order. I uninstalled and reinstalled the lg driver as well. All former attempts were deleted.

When ever I go to check message settings (exactly as you say) the phone refuses to do anything after i touch it. It doesnt lock up or freeze it simply refuses to do anything?

Also thank you for the detailed instructions, very very helpful! Smiley
