Surely we know 3.5 and above are vastly superior to 2.0 SMS at hand is a program that requires a minimum of 2.0 I have cooked into my rom 3.5 which implies 2.0 is already built into it.  However when i launch the program it tells me it does not recognize the 3.5 that i installed. The tweaker for expo programs needs 3.5 it works fine its just this program. My logic is that if 3.5, 3.7 keeps 2.0 there it implies that the program should work yet it failes to open. Anyone have any tips perhaps as to why it doesnt work I did use Dark's Package of 3.5 and another one over at XDA they both do the same thing should i just go ahead and install 2.0 and 3.5 double the space wasted Sad or is there an easier solution?

Tweaker should run as long as .net 3.5 is installed correctly (even if not set as the default)... In dropping the .net 2.0 version of Tweaker I had tested it to make sure that as long as .net 3.5 was present it would run. From there, I've always just checked .net3.5 as my default.

Is it possible that .net never installed properly? In Tweaker itself when you check off either .net 3.5 or .net 3.7 it checks to see if that library is present before committing the change otherwise we'd end up with a mess Smiley

EDIT: Duh..I really need to read…lol

Sorry. How old is the app that isn’t working? I’ve seen developers that have hardcoded their apps to look for specific .net versions (assuming they were newer at the time). It’s bad practice because as new version of the .net library come out some apps won’t recognize them as being newer than the one they are looking for.  This might be the problem you are encountering.
