No problem. Looking forward to hearing if it works. I was able to flash the Hong Kong rom after rebuilding it. The Flash.bin inside the base rom was broken into several parts. That's why I couldn't flash it without deconstructing and then reconstructing it. I tried to port English to it since I noticed that program memory is at 99 MB with the Titanium plugin running, but it keeps making the phone freeze before it can boot for the first time. I'm probably going to play with the rom a little more tomorrow.

Dark i tried to flash it and in the flasher it downloaded entire 183.4MB file again and when it comes to update it displayed a message saying a ''FATAL ERROR has occurred and cannot update, want to contact LG''. So what could have happened i have no idea. Pleeeeeese help.

That is my fault. I forgot to change something in the flasher. Run the flasher install again, but when the screen to start the actual flashing process pops up don't start the program yet. Go to:
C:\Users\All Users\LGMOBILEAX\SmartPhoneSetup and replace SPConf.ini with the one I attached to this post.

Did you try deleting all the folders left over from the old attempts and running it again?

I'm wondering if the phone is having issues recognizing the rom. I'm uploading a flasher of the base rom that came on your phone. Once I post the link can you download it and see if it will flash to your phone?

Yeah. Just go to C:\Users\All Users\ and delete the LGMOBILEAX folder. I'm just hoping that the GW825V doesn't need the Flash.bin to be in several parts within the rom. When I deconstructed it it was in several parts. DZDecypt combines these parts into one Flash.bin file. When I tried to flash the base rom to my phone it wouldn't flash until I took it apart and put it back together. If that is case the only way to make it work is for DZDecypt and the kitchen to be rewritten. I don't even know if CopsFrance and Spocky would even be willing to do that.

Here is the link to the base rom for the GW825V.

GW825V Base Rom

If this works then the problem is with the rom. The next test will be to test the base rom that I took apart and then reconstructed to see if the problem is the Flash.bin.

Hallo Dark i was able to flash the base ROM without any hitch. But not the cooked ROM provided by you today. As you told i deleted the LGMOBILEAX file and i tried to load the ROM no use. This time for a fraction of sec. it displays update is not required and immediately after that it displays A fatal error occurred...... So I need your help.

Ok. Can you test this one next. It is a reconstructed base rom? If this one works then I will see if I can cook an English rom base on the base.

Ok. So it began the flash process. That is a good sign. I'm going to try and create you a English rom based on the GW825V rom. I should have it in a bit.

Porting English to the Hong Kong rom failed. The rom wouldn't load. So I'm trying a different approach. There is a program on the IQ that allows you to switch from English to French and vise versa. I'm going to see if I can port that and hopefully it will work.

UPDATE: It didn't work. I'm going to try one more thing. If it doesn't work then I'm going to have to take a break and think about some other options.

Cool, Dark could you please post a copy of the OEM folder.  I would very much like to do a registry and file comparison.

*update - Sorry, I shouldn't be so lazy.  I downloaded the kdz and extracted it myself.  Smiley
