Sorry hared, it may be as Dark mentioned.  Since the flash.bin on your phone is built funny it may require an updated kitchen from Spooky.
Hallo Dark, trueg, is it possible to spooky to rewrite his kitchen, God only can help me......

It would not only have to be the kitchen that is rewritten. The tools that make up the kitchen would need to be rewritten too. There are a few different people that created each tool that the kitchen uses.

Good day

I'm just a new member in this forums and will be getting a gw825v soon....

My question is, can I change the language to English?

As all may know 825v is chinese and I from what I read in this the Porting Chinese to English (LG GW825V) thread, it's really  hard Tongue

but what confuses me is a post in xda-developers that someone made LG GW825 english by flashing the latest official LG rom (here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=715263 )

So please help me clear the confusing; will flashing a chinese LG GW8425v with an official English LG Expo ROM (version 10g) will make it English and will work without bugs?

Thanks for your time

Welcome to the forum. As far as flashing the 825V with 10G, we do not have any first-hand reports of someone doing this. You could try and report back on your experience.

That is perhaps not that surprising.  If I remember correctly, in 10g the flash.bin is broken up into several parts, just like the original 825V ROM.

This is very true. The real test will be to see if custom roms can be flashed based on the v10g firmware, but judging by past results with the rebuilt stock GW825v rom I doubt it will be possible. At least those that have the GW825v won't be stuck with a phone that's in Chinese. They will simply be stuck with all the bloatware.
