My expo stopped playing sound out of the rear speaker at one point as well, something that was a standard troubleshooting step fixxed it for me, though i dont remember exactly what. Something im sure youve tried like taking the battery out and back in..

I tried the headset trick... No luck. I must admit that when the problem first occurred, I thought it might have been a registry problem and I unlocked the registry... I can't remember if I changed any values in the the registry files. Surely re-flashing the phone would've fixed any alterations that I may have made?

Cheers,

Hmm does sound play through the headphones?

Another thing, place a call, an try an put it in speakerphone mode while in a call.

Plug headset in an out in during same call.

Probably all no-go's, just other ideas.

If its out of warranty, and can't really be used, i Might dissamble it, or massage/rap that area of the phone while a song is playing on media player to see if its slightly dislodged and can get a crackle out out it to warrant taking it apart.

jmtc.

Hate to see a shelf queen.

Hi evazhj, I downloaded this yesterday, no problem.

Curious why you want the base ROM, We have a cooked ROM now without all the LG carp.

I am trying to flash my phone back to the base rom unsucessfully. The Dragonstorm one worked without a hitch, however, I am running into the screen with the unreadable writing when trying to install the IQ base rom  Huh (Screenshot attached)

I was reading through the threads and couldn't find a solution, any help would be much appreciated. It stops when checking the S/W Version, so I think it's just the problem stated in the first post. But it says it should be remedied now since the flashers are repacked...

EDIT: Nevermind I just added the .dz file from base IQ rom inside the Dragonstorm package and renamed it. Not sure if there is any unwanted side-effects, but it worked for now  Undecided

Little confused here i was able to flash the base rom back to the expo without getting a version error. the DZ file can be extracted from the lg default rom

C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX

this is where im testing all my roms and it works fine even with base rom
I could be talking about something else though.

So, downloaded and flashed without a hitch. Works great with the exception of no LGidles.
Where can I get LGIdles? I kind of miss it.

Thanks!

If you downloaded the base rom then idles is in it. If you go to start menu>settings>home and go to the items tab there will be a list of plugins. select LGIdles and click ok.
