New XALLON BUILD 21850
Fixed a large amount of nuances of a problem
-Removed Idles option from today
-Fixed startup to be animated and lowered startup sound to make it better on loud setting
-Taskbar icons had to redo a majority of them what a pain but icofx is easy to use so wasnt too bad added a LOT more icons that i could find
fixed wifi icons battery status more accurate now still trying to implement percentage as battery basic theory is there just trying to get it done needs time i did not have.
-Removed more software that doesnt do anything useful to save space
-Icons changed a little in start menu to better reflect our daily usage
-Default titanium modified to exclude welcome center and others
-

Issues:
Minor issue with startup animation it requires 15bit depth BMP files i used AHA to convert them to 15 bit but the last image which is startup_dmg file is 16 bit so image looks like it shifts to the left a little not a big deal but i have NOT found a proper way to do it very strange LG relies on 15bit bmps but thats what i had to work with

Future To-Do's
Dont know if its an LG issue or my rom issue but camera is finnicky when you use it with resco photo manager it does NOT load properly locks up screen changes power settings and does not turn on camera. VERY WIERD! but i think resco has been designing for HTC too long other programs have similar issues like scan2pdf does not work for some reason but worked on my old fuze hmm need to figure out how to make use of the camera dlls.
Also need to create program for our LED light i looked at HTC htorch wow so complicated for me cuz im not a programmer but its doable. just need the right DLL from our Expo to get it to call the flash light.
Want to remove default Comm Manager talk about so 2003! Some HTC flavor or Sony(htc right?) but i havent found a stable enough version that doesnt have ANY problems.
Chainfire's awesome work of polling the G sensor makes HTC software dependent on g sensor work even g alarm works with it but WONT COOK IT IN EVER cuz he doesnt want it but still great fricking job on that one.
Trying to implement video drivers better it seems we have the DLLs for Opengles and direct 3d yet quake 3 for example is 3 FPS whatever! we can get more performance out of this device i am sure of it.
Will add facebook app and youtube app if anyone can recommend a good one cuz the official ones SUCK!
Trying to see if i can get acrsoft mms going instead of LG's it might be less flashy but at least its not a memory HOG haha
More to-do's but cant think of any right now.

What: Awesome 21749 Build Rom for your LG Expo(ATT) only currently

Hi guys i troubleshooted so many issues I think its ready to go try this flava flava its a 21749 series so dont expect 6.5.5 haha

Removed:
A BUNCH of junk from ATT reduced the rom size big time
Netcf 2.0 Of course i mean really microsoft and lg really?
Default notifications ekh so ugly had to change those
All the demo programs and the java programs serious waste of space
Got rid of extra files for different versions of the Expo

Added:
Googlemaps
Shazam
Simple Gloss theme( USE IT ITS AWESOME! just got to start/settings/today/and any of the livven simply gloss its BOSS!
Own ringtones, sounds
Custom FINGERPRINT pictures(dont worry i didnt go too fancy just a proof of concept attempt)
Startup sound and animations left the ATT startup animation because I cant seem to get it just yet but ill keep trying for something fresher.
I custom made all the taskbar icons most of them were NOT compatible with our phone i had to iCOfx 90% of them it was laborious but the concepts are thanks to twowentaskbar it was boss on my fuze i simply ported most of it to our phone. its still off but im happy with it.

Known issues:
-Lg Idles removed but not from registry still can access it just to get an error minor fix in the registry ill add it to next build.(edit real simple registry fix to remove idles from today plugins)
Nothing that i can tell yet but hopefully you guys can find something so I can get to it Smiley

Installation:
its simply an compressed SFX file it extracts to the following folder
C:\Program Data\
I have found this is the ONLY PLACE it works for me on windows 7
at worst you can use my rom files and put it wherever it works for you
If you have XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\
its very strange and took me a while to figure out let me know if there is a problem installing for your version of windows as its working for me i might not be aware of issues with you guys.

I finally got my phone the way I like it, no more messing around with it for me unless something revolutionary comes out.

I'm tired of having to do HR's after using my phone as a guinea pig lol Cheesy

sorry guys its an oversight on my behalf i removed idles to cut space down what i failed to do is mention it and remove it from today options will look into it and make sure its gone its not thats its ugly or bad but i think manilla 2.5 u cant beat it the code is more efficient for our phone from the limited use i got out of it.

Zalooa, is that Simple Gloss theme you mention available in a stand-alone version, or does it have to be cooked in? I'm curious as to what it looks like...

@RogueCheddar
the simple gloss is actually at XDA u can do a standalone installation it makes the menus bigger and glossy and nice. I cooked it in and forgot to take it out i DID NOT DO IT on purpose no offense to creators of simple gloss but its too bad ass to not include. It basically enhances menus and makes the theme more glossy but is no substitute for 6.5.5 but i think our 21749 build is more stable then the 23xxx build. Thats all will add pics of what it does. Third screen is a titanium mod i think its boss if you need a link i know its called bliss theme it adds to simple gloss

@Tiger
you can technically install manilla with chainfire's lg expo g sensor it helps a little but the main issue is that a severe amount of hacking is needed to get it 100%. I personally think its beautiful when i put it on my phone but its resource hungry and crippled. I am still tweaking up my roms getting things done right. But ill take a look at manilla and see if its possible to removed non functional widgets and leave that awesome weather widget intact and other key things. it is at XDA you just need to search for manilla 2.5 WVGA its easy to get difficult to install and impossible to uninstall Sad hard reset time.

If you haven't found it already, it's here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578468

..pretty swanky ... livven also did a sweet looking lockscreen, and has been working on a wp7 metro style dialer .. lots of good stuff in his sig Smiley

@zalooa:  just post in livven's thread with a "thanks" and a link back here and you will hopefully get livven's blessing to continue cooking it

hello
thanks for your ROM. I really  like it Smiley . But I miss LGidle . I know that most of us don't like LG idle but I'm pretty sure some want it ... So . question is could you make ROM like yours 2185 but with LGidle ? I would be really grateful ...
