With my XP box, I had to extract in safe mode but then log into windows to flash. I never got a Dragonstorm rom to flash with a Vista box but other members got it to go by turning off their antivirus software. Have not flashed yet with Win 7 but I know others had success with that as well.

Using Windows7 to flash- Get as far as Analysis screen> 32% completed> Server Errror pops up> what looks like chinese writing and cant go any further than that. anyone have an ideas why thats happening or possible solution? thanks

You will definitely notice a difference. First thing is that the Start bubble will have moved to the bottom of the screen. Was all your data wiped? If so, you have installed V10G, if not, you made no change to your rom.

You don't have to do a hard reset first, the flash will wipe out your data, but it's a good idea to hard reset after the flash so you don't have leftovers from the previous rom. If your Start button is at the top, you did not flash to 23139.

This is at least part of the problem. If you do not have the rom in the correct directory, the flasher program will download a rom into that directory and use it to flash the eXpo.

mikk, if you haven't resolved this by now, try it by going into Start, Tools, then LG Menu and clicked on LG Contacts.  Then in LG contacts menu you'll be able to select all contacts from SIM and copy to the handset.  Good luck!
