Will someone assist me in locating the folder to store mp3 ringtones for application within my device? I have tried \My Documents\My Ringtones.

Using Audacity to create the ringtones exporting as MP3.

You just want help using custom ringtones?  If you have MP3's on your storage card and right click them, you should have the option to 'set as Ringtone'.  It will then copy the MP3 to \My Documents\My Ringtones\ and set it as your Ringtone.

Otherwise, on my phone (running 6.5.3), just putting the MP3 in \My Documents\My Ringtones\ will allow it to show up in Sounds & Notifications under Ring tone.

I figured as much, however, there is no option when I right click the files and placing them in the folder mentioned has no effect on the listed ringtones. Has LG stripped the option or did I accidentally disable it? Hmm.

You also need to make sure that all your ringtones are 300 KB or smaller or they will not be listed. However, here is a link to a post that has a cab attached that will change the ringtone size limit to 25 MB.

Create a folder in the root of your sd card called My Ringtones. Store your mp3 ringtones there. They should show up when selecting a ringtone.
