i have.... but in the end... never really used the theme i made. did it as a test.

the major thing is to have silverlight installed. and do the download, not send to phone option....i've had issues before with the send to phone option.

Sort of a nice idea for newbies to Windows Mobile, but slow as molasses even with Silverlight installed and wouldn't download to computer OR send via text. Kinda useless, I agree.

Yeah, I have silverlight. I got the same result. You can create the "theme" but it will not let you keep it. I tried computer first then text, neither worked. Just an error message telling me to try again later.

didn't work on my netbook, but worked fine on my work pc...

proof is attached.

update: tried making another and it errored out.

so, it may either be the pic being used for the bg or the app isn't stable...

Seems to be the background pic. I was able to create one without wallpaper and the one with wallpaper errored out. So I trimmed the wallpaper I wanted to use to 800x480 and it created it. Pretty crappy themes if you ask me. They seem to be based on the default blue theme and are intended for 6.5.2 and below. Even when creating for the LG Fathom which comes with the newer interface. There is also just not enough choice for customization.

i think it may be a bit more than the image size, but it is the image causing the issue....

IDK. I just trimmed the wallpaper from 800x800 to 800x480 and it worked. The file was the same format and name. As a matter of fact, it's the image I use for my profile pic. I have it as a 800x800 jpeg to use as my wallpaper but my image isn't exactly centered. Still not a very good end result anyway, the menu button is missing from the messaging app, you can't see the tabs in settings screens, just << >> to let you know there are other tabs. It does make it easier to position your image but I've found a better solution with paint.net.
