I was playing around with the menus, went into EngineerMode, used the green arrows to scroll to HSDPA Module. In the Status, it said HSDPA inactive. I wonder if I'm not getting HSDPA and only 3G like the icon on my phone displays. I've looked through the registry, but cannot find anything releated to HSDPA. On my ATT Tilt, there was a setting that would activate HSDPA and change the icon from a G to an H. Any ideas?

BTW - Nice Find!

i just got my highest numbers ever in speed test 1634kbit/sec and 1681kbit/sec and pages are loading really quick and i only have one bar. i changed one of the keys called dish from 0 to 1 in the same folder that hspda icon was in. not sure if it even has anything to do with it. i also enabled disable taskbar overide and lgoverride. edit another forum says that this DisH key is the hsdpa on and off and 0 is on but i thought 1 was enable and since i changed it internet explorer is was faster

Don't forget Data does go into idle modes when not in use.

On Telus, I am getting just under 7000-8000 kbs down, though its up load speed is weaksauce.

On my ATT Expo I could not find any Registry entry like that. I used both SK and PHM reg edit.

@nev310 interesting, did you have IE or another app running to get that to appear?
Also the registry entry you posted, is there something missing from it? I cannot find it.
