I was able to duplicate your results, switched to the HSDPA Module just as IE was loading and it appeared as actice, then went inactive.

maybe it just turns on and off as data is used. since i have been messing with settings i have noticed today that my speed is about 600kbps on average which is slower than normal. i dont know if changing the registry is doing or or its just the network.

so today in a very good coverage area for ATT in memphis i did a bandwidth test from www.mobilhastighedstest.dk and got 2.4mbps but at my house i get around 800kbps. i noticed that almost everytime data is used that the hsdpa_module says start instead of inactive. all this is with the key dish set to 1. i noticed on some roms on my fuze the key is set to 2.

Yes, thats packing speeds.

I didn't realize all of AT&T wasn't HSPA+?

We got lucky when Telus rolled out their HSPA+ Network, Its all or nothing.
(Its like the CEO of our Tele-coms have been taking over by aliens to actually improve their networks into the something useable)

lol

Hey peeps.

If 3G doesn't seem too important or you feel like nailing a specific band, do this:

Dial : 3845#*820#
Modem setting> Band Setting> Select which you want

Personally, I have noticed a slight increase in battery life since switching to GSM only.

That takes me to the "Engineer Menu" , now if I can figure out what to do once I get there.

After I changed it to GSM only I lost WiFi and a strange colored dot in middle of the screen , Went back in and switched it back to automatic , power cycled the phone and all is normal
