I did some digging in the Incite registry and found the keys to enable in-call recording. Attached is a cab that will enable it. After installing you will need to do a reset for the changes to take effect. Now when your in a call just go to menu and click record. To stop recording go to menu and click stop recording or just end the call. I'm still not sure where the audio file is saved though.

Note: It is illegal in most states and in many other places to record a call without the party on the other end having any knowledge of it. You need to tell them that you are recording the call before you start recording.

EDIT: I found where the file is saved. Go to the My documents folder on the device and then go to Notes.

It's weird. I tested this on my voicemail box and the first couple of times it didn't record. After putting the speakerphone on it recorded. I tried it a few more times without the speakerphone and it records. The first few tests might have been a fluke.

Thanks! I've installed it, reboot, and the first call I did was recorded. Didn't had to bother with speakerphone.
make the call, start recording, stop recording, hang up.

Speaking of in-call recording, has anyone here used Auto-Call Recorder? I used it on my Tilt, and I installed it on my eXpo, but I can't get it working right. I've managed to record a couple of calls, but then right after the call the program gives me an error and disables recording. I'd much rather use this since it will automatically start recording when you answer or place a call.

Your welcome. Now I'm able to record without speakerphone. It was probably some sort of glitch.

I'm not sure if there is. After recording though I just moved it to the memory card.

Just finally tried this out the other night and it worked great the first try, even using my bluetooth headset. Great clarity on the recording. But 2 minutes of saved conversation ended up being a frigging HUGE .wav file. Any way we can alter the settings on this recording feature, or do the default sound recording setting apply here?

For those of interest, in Texas, the law is that ONLY one person need to be aware of a recording, like a hand recorder, therefore, you being the one that knows, then, it is legal.  Grin
