In my experience the default xt9 keyboard doesnt pop up when you slide open the keyboard. Questions: 1) Are you using the default keyboard. If the answer to that question is "I don't know", then you are probably using the default keyboard. 2) Are you using the American, Candian, or Hong Kong version of the Expo? 3) Have you modified any keyboard registry entries? I used dragon 23139 with dasur slideit keyboar and i have the same issue. If I use xt9 its ok.
