how to fully disable HSDPA/GPRS/EDGE?

hi all

how to fully disable HSDPA/GPRS/EDGE and all other data connections with the telecom service provider which cost money?

i've found that i was using OPERA10 for internet thru wifi but it suddenly connect to those payable connections.

In settings->connection, there are 2 connects which said "this connection was added by yor telecom service provider and you cannot edit it"

I have created a dummy connection and set it the default. Inside connection settings, i have typed anything as dummy(like server,login name,passwords) and DNS/WNS to be a faulty IP address, like 1.0.0.0. But it could still connect to those payable connections.

Is there any chance i can get a 3rd party software to override the default windows setting, or do something in the registry?
