I posted on here how I was going to get away from AT&T because they violated their own Terms of Service and left them last December, for tmobile. I wanted to be able to use my Expo on tmobile and it has better signal where I live than my tmobile phone.
My LG Expo / GW820 was locked to AT&T and nobody could get me a code for it. I went to
http://www.unlocktotalk.com and entered a coupon code (look for one online and you're sure to find it) and purchased the unlock code.
Within a very short time, they emailed me that they couldn't get it via traditional methods and asked if I could wait a little longer so they could try getting it "using the LG method." I suspect they had to contact LG directly to get my code, but they did deliver it within the same day.
For such a reasonable price, I could not have hoped for better service. Sure beats eBay and dealing with other companies who couldn't deliver!
Now I can use my Expo on t-mobile or any other sim network and can show off the projector and other features current phones don't offer.
Just thought I'd let you all know someone who could help, in case you wished you could use your phone with another carrier.
