Do you see my memories?

I've noticed that the LG Task Manager eats up a bit of memory. I decided to remap the task manager button to the built in task manager which isn't such a resource hog. To do this go to start menu>settings>personal>buttons. After that change button 6 to task manager and press ok.

You are talking about re-mapping the Multi-task button, right? What is the difference in memory useage between it and the windows task button?

I've remapped my button and saw no increase in memory. I looked at memaid and saw that the LG task Mgr was still running. When I shut it down, the phone began running extremely slow and eratic and had to soft reset. Apparently there are other resources attached.

That is one of the reasons, we all wanted rid of LG's Idles, it is/was an is a waste of resources.

It is a software white elephant.

That is one of the appealing sides of WP7, no skins like that anymore.

When I first go the phone I kind of liked Idles... but now that just makes it seem worthless. Is SPB Mobile Shell any less a hog?

SPB Shell is a notorious memory leaker itself.

Sorry to say, that is one of the reasons I do not use it anymore, even after purchasing it.

This does seem to be a problem with SPB but i do feel like it is manageable with CleanRAM. I run CleanRAM about twice a day which helps. I usually start with around 70mb RAM which drops to about 35mb RAM usually by dinner time without CleanRAM. using the program it will usually hover about 55-60mb all day.

Damnit! I love SPB' interface but now I guess I gotta make the choice... Which uses less ultimately? Like over one day?
