LG Task Manager - Resource Hog « on: May 19, 2010, 01:05:30 AM » I've noticed that the LG Task Manager eats up a bit of memory. I decided to remap the task manager button to the built in task manager which isn't such a resource hog. To do this go to start menu>settings>personal>buttons. After that change button 6 to task manager and press ok. I looked at memaid and saw that the LG task Mgr was still running. When I shut it down, the phone began running extremely slow and eratic and had to soft reset. WR When I first go the phone I kind of liked Idles... but now that just makes it seem worthless. Is SPB Mobile Shell any less a hog? I run CleanRAM about twice a day which helps. I usually start with around 70mb RAM which drops to about 35mb RAM usually by dinner time without CleanRAM. using the program it will usually hover about 55-60mb all day.
