Use CeRegEditor. Once you have it open go to the connection tab and click connet. After that go to tools and click unlock registry. Now your registry is ready to be altered or saved. Next go to tools>backup/restore and choose create image/backup. Finally choose where you want to save the reg backup and name it; and save.
