Here is a little tweak I owe to a WMX; a friend from LG-Incite.com. This tweak sets directories where replication will not take place.. WM device create backups (sort of like shadow files) of it's directories. This is done in the background so you don't even notice this is occurring. It in turn causes extra memory to be taken upyou may find your phone slowing down and more memory being used. This tweak will simply place most of the phone directories in the exclusion list. . A cab for this is attached to this post. After installing reset your phone so the changes take effect.

So what makes/causes these backups.
Installing cabs. apps or the usually power on/off sequence.
Can we do like some sort of disk defrag like what we do with our PC's on these shadow folders. Maybe that why my old touch pro became half the time unresponsive. Can we see this exclusion list and do a check mark of what folders to excludes. Just want to know before I download.

I'm not 100% sure what causes this to happen. I'm not even sure a disk defrag would work either. The tweak doesn't allow you to see the exclusion list but here is a list of what is excluded:

\mxip_initdb.vol
\mxip_system.vol
\mxip_notify.vol
\mxip_lang.vol
\cemail.vol
\pim.vol
\Documents and Settings\
\My Documents\
\Program Files\
\Application Data\
\Temp\
\Windows\
