Attached is a cab that has tweaks that will improve the overall performance of the eXpo. These tweaks were originally discovered by WMX on the Incite forum. I modified some of them for the eXpo since some were specific to the Incite. So far I noticed that the eXpo is a bit faster and runs a little smoother.

No problem. The Incite one would of given you problems. There are tweaks in there that are specific to the Incite. One such tweak would of messed with the screen which you didn't want.

Changes some display, GDI, DirectX, Drivers, Storage Manager profiles settings to name a few. It will be included in the next build of Tweaker Wink

Well, it does seem snappier in behavior.

I like it.

After installing this tweak I did notice a bit snappier response overall, so that was good. Strangely though, now the messaging seems to freeze for a minute when I close it out after sending/replying to a text message. Not a major issue - only freezes things for about 20 seconds - but still bothersome. Any thoughts as to why this might be?

Not sure why it does that. Mine was doing that before the tweak was added. I do remember there being a threaded messaging bug in 6.5. If you have a lot of messages sitting in the inbox this occurs. I believe they resolved this  during the 6.5.1 development stage since we never ran across this problem in those builds.

That must have been it Dark. Shortly after posting that, I cleared out all but the most recent messages and the lag pretty much disappeared.  So now my question is: why did my eXpo come with 6.5.0, and since it is FOTA capable, why have we seen nothing from AT&T or LG to at least take us up to 6.5.1? WarRaven: did your IQ come with 6.5.1?

Well 6.5.1 or even 6.5.3 have not been officially released yet. I did see that in March there will be phones out with the 6.5.3 UI. So I'm hoping that we will get an update with 6.5.3.

Yeah, its got to be close to being released I would think, and hope lol.

Once the start menu is on the bottom, it'll feel a lot better to me.

I agree. The start menu being on the bottom is wonderful. I can access it using one hand that way. Also it is bigger and easier to hit. In addition I like the magnified taskbar too.
