Just caught a story on WMPoweruser, that marketplace is going to be updated real soon, possibly today.

Aparently, this version will allow to install to SD card, and possibly which country you want to use it in.

I just tried an mine is showing the older version yet, an then loses connection, so maybe its rolling out now.

The new one as told by WmPU is 1.2.1417.001

Thanks for sharing. A while back someone on xda hacked the older version to get it to install on the SD card and allow it to install apps on the SD card, but unfortunately it will no longer connect since it is registering as an older version than the current one. I just don't know why they didn't release it like that from the beginning. I guess you live and learn, then you listen to the consumers.

Here's a way to get it sooner, then hoping it self updates.

Credit to user "derliebewolf" at WMPU for the tip in user comments..

Uninstall marketplace and download new version on your phone at  http://mp.windowsphone.com

Now you can download to storage card and choose your region to buy your apps from.

Peace

I downloaded the bootstrap cap, installed the new version of the WMMarketplace. Then I saw that the program list (in remove programs) still has the windows marketplace bootstrap in it and went ahead to uninstall that. Then my marketplace icon in start menu was gone! no problem I just goto start menu and recreate the shortcut to \Windows\WMMarketplaceFullClient.exe
