Here is an app worth watching and or using.

Its battlinesvc V1, It works on my IQ as is right off the bat, though as always, Ymmv.

It puts a very slim line across the top of screen to indicate battery power remaining.

The Author did a nice job and is worth stopping by his thread at XDA an saying thanks to him.

Also, to keep an eye on its development, as the author made it open source and is busy with other things an hasn't created a config file to allow simple settings and adjustments, it only through Reg at this point.

With that said, it works as is outa the box an gives one a visual of their present power levels.

I don't know, But I like it so far, I have used BattClock and others, and have not been satisfied yet. this one seems to handle screen rotations an other little things I have tried with so far ok.

BattLine <-- Click me.

I'll attach some screens to see it on mine for example.

Peace

WR

Just installed it and tried it out, so far I like it and think I'm going to keep it. There is a config program now in the version I installed to change basic settings.

The only minor gripe that I have is that on startup there is a dialog that always pops up saying "BattLineSVC successfully started" This is kinda annoying to me and the only downside I have experienced so far with this mod.

I seen them mention that in the thread about a notification, However I have not seen the pop-up they and yourself are seeing.

I got lucky I guess.

However, even if its just a temp pop-up, I could probably live with it for this app.

Just a heads up to everyone, V2.1 is now out, the startup notification problem has been remedied.  Smiley

loaded it up and love it.  Very nice how it just blends into the background but provides all the info needed.  I also like the customization availible.

Nice Find

Yeah, its very lean, I knew others here would like/love that  Wink

The author makes another program I made a thread for, ReRemind, for missed calls, sms, mms and alarms etc.

He does nice work, I use both programs presently.
