I see we're on the same thinking page.

My plan in Version 2 is to hopefully have it read the installed apps and allow you to choose which ones to allow rotate and only those. I'm not a big fan of 'rotating all' as it just don't work right for some apps. I'd rather pick and choose the ones I want activated to rotate and if they don't work right have the ability to turn them off again.

That being said, expect to see it in Version 2...lol.. and V 1's not even out yet....lol

Think you can make one specifically on .NET 3.7? That's what I set my phone to default.

Not even sure why they made .Net3.7 available as I can't get the WM SDK's in VS 2008 for it. If anyone knows where to find them let me know (NOT the device .net3.7, already have that one).

The .net3.5 version will work fine for you.
All .Net framework is backwards compatible from 3.0 up.

Auto Rotation seems to not be working. Will update, once I figure out what is going on. Other than that everything else is being reported as working.

Edit:

Correction: And now it works…lol, not sure what is going on in the device but after a while it seem to work. Think there may be some additional registry strings for this one. The good news is it seems to work, just not as quickly as some of the other registry edits.

Yeah, sorry i forgot about that one guys, it would be decent.

Would be nicer if we get it to be selectable through the default keyboard backlight settings after a tweak, though i dont know how to get it to show there myself.
So i'll dig it up an throw that here for it to be dissected.
To set the keyboard backlight longer then 3 or 5 seconds...

HKCU/ControlPanel/Backlight/

Keypadbacklightsetting I have set to 15
Keypadbklstandard 15

10 Might better, but a choice of 3-30 would be sweet, though how do we get it to be a selectable choice somewhere??

Thanks glownlow.

Tonight I'm trying to go through all the calls in voicemail that I ignored today and guess what?... dang backlight on the dialer (display) keeps going off, other than the power button I can't see or do anything... meanwhile the voicemail lady is yakking away asking me to enter something... IF I COULD I WOULD!

Ok, that was my vent for the night  Grin

I'm looking for a few more tweaks. Backlighting on the keyboard, the dialer (for sure).

In the meantime here's a quick fix (for the dialer stay displayed), turn the proximity sensor off. At least now dialer won't go black although the display no longer turns off when close to your face.

I'll add it to the next version to toggle the proximity sensor. For now here's the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\ProximitySensor

Change 'SensorOn' from 1 to 0

Oh...and Thanks WarRaven, as I'm typing this you just posted...lol

...Forgot yet another one....

Max file size for ring tones... Don't recall seeing it in Dark's Missing sound reg. edit.
Need to add that one as well. I've got it in .CAB format (can't read cab files) need the true Reg. Values... anyone???

... I'm just to lazy to go look them up Wink

Under the rotate all.

How did you set this?

As theres a key under...

 HKCU/ControlPanel/Accelsensor
Here is master enable for the sensor an timing rotate control like i mentuined i set these down really low on mine.
On delay and mode change.

But,
 Then theres the keys under

 HKCU/Software/LGE/rotatemanager/exclusive/state/slideopen   and slide closed

Where you set to set accel sensor to 1 here, it makes it rotate everything all the time,
as the switch kinda implies, i just checked mine, they were still 0 after setting thro the app an resetting an verifying again.

Just a heads up bro.
