Hello Everyone,

Anyone using Iguidance?  I have been using this program for years and it was not cheap and i would like to keep using it since i payed for it.  I have used it on several other phones and PPC's in the past without problems.  I can not seem to get it to work on the Expo unless i use Franson Gps gate. I do not like the franson program because i can get all of my other Gps programs to work without it. Iguidance is the only program i cant get to connect to the gps, unless using Franson.

I am using
Darks 23138 rom
Gw825v GPS driver CAB
The gps is set to be managed by windows and the programs are set to com4
I have google maps and Tracky set to use com4 and the two work fine.
I cant understand why i guidance cant find the the GPS on com 4

Any ideas?

Hello Smiley

I am sorry to hear your facing problems  with that gps program. I am not really aware of that application but one thing I will suggest is you upgrade to dragon storms latest ROM. If this fixes it or not I dont know.

Hope this helps Smiley

Hey Douglas5763,

Unfortunately you may have to stick with GPS Gate. I've got the same problem with Tom Tom. No matter what configuration I've tried it refused to communicate without it either. In the process of trying to get it running I started using iGo (didn't need GPS gate) and liked it so much that I've stuck with it. So the short answer is you may need to use GPS gate to have guidance communicate with the GPS hardware properly.

Sorry to be off your topic Douglas5763 but godashram, what ROM are you using? I went mental tyring to get it working (even created the tweak in Tweaker to disable A-GPS with no luck at all).
