Well I am very new to trying out SPB shell 3.5.

Though, I am a quick leaner, and I am wondering what tricks, tips, themes, wallpapers you might think are good or work well with our phones in particular?

I have a full version an looked through it pretty good already, exploited the lifestyles an prof screens to my liking, Carousel doesn't seem to play well with mine, thats ok, though if you have found how to make it work, pitch in.
I tried changing the registry under HKLM/Software/SPB software House 2/Gl/Selector scene/gsensor to "1", but no go.

So far, A totally black background makes them near invisible icons alot easier to see for me, though the panoramic screens are very nice, though over power the idle/transparent icons too easy I think.

I seen that you have to tweak each screen in portrait an landscape.

Still undecided on this software, so i remove the auto-start up, and have set it as a shortcut from Titanium for now, till I feel more at ease with it. Theres millions of threads out there on this software though I ask here as I bet, you guy's have already found alot the best ideas out.

How about a show of hands here, How many here use it on their LG's???

Not only will this help me, but maybe others here as well, so come on gang, lets have it..

I'm using it and I love it. save me the trouble of customizing the titanium homescreen or some other third party homescreen.

yes, the g-sensor won't work. I think thats the same reason other g-sensor apps won't work because there's no drivers/wrapper scripts to read the output of the g-sensors yet.

but you can turn on the 3d effects (same place in the registry) and get a bit of eye candy.

I use mskip's icon skins to so I can get the HTC diamond clock and a bigger weather icon. You can also try out naong's MobileSense, I think someone else on this forum is using that.

wallpaper: I use aurora, looks least distracting to me
theme: Ron Arad Orange, so the SPB menus look brownish.

Also, go to the SPB forums and download the SPB menu editor, it'll allow you to add icons to the SPB launcher menus

Thank you Davi23

I found through the xda link you provided to XDA, the way to enable GL an high quality refelections for the carousel. Works well now, I mean, carousel always rotated but now can grab it tilt it.

May not auto tilt, but thats a start, an the reflections is a nice touch.

Ok, here you go,..

I just made some quick ones,

First is to enable GL drivers in SPB

Second is to enable the carousel to tilt via your finger, and not the Gsensor itself.

Third is for high quality reflections.

Have fun.

Not a bad idea, I don't know, haven't dug that deep yet.

I certainly will look though.

Jug6ernaut, I am having a brain fart, what is a link name for the startmenu?

Is it,

Startmenu
<startmenu>
Starmenu.lnk
startmenu.dll

I believe i correct key to map, just need to test with proper shortcut/link..
