SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 Tips..

Thanks for your help everyone, but I have one more request. Is there any way to enable the 3D email and SMS client, so that it shows in 3D? Mine is showing flat and boring.

I also got a questioj, anyone find a way to turn the tilt accelerometer off dor the spb? It looks terrible in landscape.

if you have global rotation enabled (see http://www.lg-expo.com/how-to/how-to-make-a-app-use-the-rotation-sensor/msg1441/#msg1441) then it doesn't look like you can set an app override for MobileShell to turn of rotation. at least we haven't found a way to do that yet.

so if you really don't want mobile shell to auto rotate then you'll need to turn off global rotation and then enable on a per app basis.

for both email and SMS/MMS notification icon, press and hold the icon to bring up the widget menu, press "default action" and choose "3D message viewer"

I like everything to "flow" and have a clean look like it was all meant to be that way so here some of my screens.

Ok this is probaly a simple question but I am not finding it any where.  I have installed SPB and I'm getting things lined out the way I like. One thing I can't find that I would like to add to 'My Shortcuts' is the 'LGTip calculator' and the Stop Watch app.  They are on the LG MEnu, but when I try to add these on the My Shortcuts in SPB I'm not able to find them can someone help me out.  Also ghostface I like the small Icons you have at the top showing your bat,network,mem ect.. how did you change those.
